THE DEAD RIVER COLLECTIVE
INDEPENDENT SHOPS HELPING TO SUPPORT LOCAL MAINE COMMUNITIES
My name is Rev. Johan Paul, I’m a chef, artist, outdoors enthusiast, chainsaw aficionado and proud member of a multi generational family that can trace it’s roots back to well before Maine was even a state. I also happen to be an adult on the autism spectrum, so if you see anything here that you might disagree with or that might offend you, keep it to yourself. I don’t have time for your ignorance or bigotry.
What is The Dead River Collective?
To describe it simply, we are a collective of shops & collaborations with some of the finest that Maine has to offer. Here are just a few of our current shops & what they offer!
Río Muerto Apparel & Designs (basically our in house team of creators) – Apparel & accessories for feeling your best, in the best state! Some of our tastes might be a bit different from yours, but sleep well knowing that ALL profits from the sale of our items is DONATED to local Maine communities. Family tradition meets individual flavor with bold, irreverent & occasionally sarcastic designs. It helps if you understand sarcasm…
Northwoods Natural Health (The Way Natural Health Should Be) – We’ve always been pretty close to the earth, and our partnership w/ The Tree of Life Wellness Center is no exception! With over 40 years of experience serving the natural health needs of it’s family, friends & community, the Tree of Life is THE trusted authority. We use their immense knowledge to bring you nothing but the best & most trusted natural health supplements.
Durgin Hill (The friendly neighborhood smoke shop you’ve always wanted) – Our smoking style has been developed & refined over the years & these items express what we’ve come to know as classy. ALL items are for their intended legal use only. ALL items shipped will require an adult signature for delivery. We also hand inspect every item before packing to ensure the highest level of quality arrives at your door!
BORN IN THE WOODS
THE DEAD RIVER COLLECTIVE @ WEST FORKS, MAINE.
Our family has deep roots in Maine, going back through multiple generations. Since the late 1700’s our ancestors have called the banks of the west branch of the Dead River home. If you’ve ever floated down this particular backwoods waterway or driven up Rt. 201 towards our northern neighbors, chances are you’ve passed by some of our family!
